BETTY'S BACKYARD

This is the way the back graden looked when I moved in.  There have already been several changes, which you will see in a later posting.  If any of you can identify the unknowns, please let me know.

Here is a panorama of the wall separating the walkway next to the house and the back garden:



And here are the new flower beds that were made when the fence was put in:

Pure Potential -
There will be bouganvillea across the back fence.

The large Datura plants on the right
have been removed because they are poisonous.

And here are some individual plants out back:

Acanthus mollis or spinosus

Arrowhead Plant: Syngonium podophyllum,
related to philodedron.
And I used to pay money for this in the States.

Basil I Planted - (Has since been eaten by something.)
Am turning the south bed next to the house into a kitchen garden.
